Protank (Pty) Ltd t/a Indian Ocean Terminals (IOT), is a wholly owned South African registered company which owns and operates a high flash bulk liquid storage terminal at Maydon Wharf, Durban Port under a long term lease and licence with the Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA).

.,_ ' IOT provides an essential bulk liquid storage service to South African Industry by receiving, storing and dispatching its customers various strategic high flash bulk liquid products from its terminal at Maydon Wharf. Infrastructure has been invested in to offer the customer a complete and efficient storage service.

Customers products are received by ship pumping products to IOT, stored and dispatched from IOT tanks, according to customers instructions, by road tanker. Conversely, product flow from road tanker to storage tank to pumping product onto a ship on behalf of the customer can also be accommodated.

IOT is a BBBEE level 2 company.
