Company Description

THOMSON’S – SABIE was established during 1998 when Danie and Isabel Thomson permanently settled in the picturesque town off Sabie; nestled in the mountains of the Mpumalanga Lowveld. The Hardware & Building Supplies division was formed when the family bought the then Sabie Building Supplies out of bankruptcy. The rest is history. A new premises was acquired during 2002, affording the Hardware division 700m2 under roof.

Reliable transport became an ever increasing problem; resulting in the family investing in their own fleet of long distance vehicles to satisfy the Company’s transport needs. A division supplying round timber to various markets countrywide was since added as well as a Recycling plant.
