Job Description

Work Remotely from South Africa.

Job opportunity: Writer/Marketing Manager
(R25 000, per month).
Place of work: You work remotely from South Africa.
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm South African time (2pm-10pm Brisbane Time).

General area of responsibility: Produce relevant content for websites, blogs, articles, white papers, product descriptions, and social media platforms. Responsibilities include evaluating analytics to adjust content as needed, regularly updating the company's website, and promoting the company blog by pitching articles to various third-party platforms.

Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Writing engaging content for blogs, ebooks, case studies, video scripts, infographics, including planning and book outlines etc.
- Creating Transcriptions.
- Conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading/editing articles before publication.
- Optimising articles for SEO and accessibility.
- Identifying gaps in content and recommending new topics.
- Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
- Editing content to ensure voice, grammar and style is on point.
- Creating and scheduling posts for multiple social media channels.
- Staying up to date on industry trends to support content development.
- Distilling complex concepts and language into content that is easily understood.
- Working closely with marketing team to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, branding and style.
- Managing and completing work on time for multiple content writing projects.
- Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.
- Creation of Lead Magnets and Scripts.
- Arrange printing of books

Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, english, journalism, or related field.
- 2+ years relevant experience
- Content writing or copywriting experience
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Computer proficiency.
- Knowledge of content management systems.
- Fluent in English (Written & Spoken).
