Chemical Technician

- Review literature to gain an in depth understanding of concepts, methods & new developments in the field of chemistry, also do external analyses to test these
- Use this information obtained to produce & develop novel idees
- Develop new products through small scale formulation, pilot plants & full scale production
- Analyze & write technical reports on the process results
- Assist the Chemical Engineering team to refine their existing range of products to improve their quality and production efficiency
- Analyze product failure & non-compliance
- Maintain lab equipment/instrumentation & troubleshoot or report on malfunctions
- Ensure compliance with laboratory Health & Safety regulations
- Routine & Non-routine QC analysis for relevant legislation & compliance requirements
- Stock control & stock tacking
- Good laboratory practices
