Job Description
Provides secure and timely driving services to make deliveries or collections on behalf of the company. Tasks related to this position include but are not limited to:
• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most convenient route
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions as needed • Report road incidents • Inspection of the truck before trip and after trip
• Report any defects • Perform preventative maintenance
• Ensure load is secured properly before departure
• Populating a logbook/trio sheet for rest periods and kilometers driven
• Driver must assist with checking goods when loaded and offloaded
• Ensure collection of signed delivery notes after every delivering
•Code 14 Truck Experience: 1-3 years (Required)
• PDP and Code 14 driver’s license (Required)
• Good Communication
