Job Description
2. handle routine repairs, including oil and tire change
3.interprets diagnostic test results accurately
write detailed inspection reports and repair plans
4.hires,trains and manages a team of tainee
5.complete test drives to make sure the vehicle runs correctly
6.follow all motor vehicle repairs shop regulations and standards
7.Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts
8.Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines and other associated parts
9.Conducting field visits in the case of an emergency or sudden breakdown
10.Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance
11.Completing oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment and brake checks
12.Maintaining records of parts inventory and serviced vehicle
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:9
1.A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
2.National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence certified diesel mechanics
3.trade test
4.At least 5 years minimum of experience as a diesel mechanic is required
5. must have experience with VOLVO TRUCKS AND TRAILERS
