Job Description

Location: Remote (Open to applicants from any location in South Africa provided you have minimum 2 years telephone sales experience and required infrastructure). Technical or technology experience would be welcomed however is not a prerequisite.

Job Description: We are in search of a dynamic and results-oriented Telephone Sales professional to join our remote team (minimum of 2 years’ experience). While prior experience in a startup environment is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite. We are looking for individuals with telephone sales skills who are proactive, creative, and enthusiastic about contributing to the growth of our company.

Requirements: Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans is a fundamental requirement for this role. As a Telephone Sales Account Manager, effective communication in both languages is essential for engaging with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders. The ability to articulate ideas, provide support, and understand the nuances of both languages is crucial for building strong relationships and ensuring excellent client service. Technical Requirements: Candidates applying for the position need not possess advanced technical skills but should have the following infrastructure for seamless remote work:
• Personal, reliable computer that meets the necessary technical specifications for effective communication, virtual collaboration, and software utilization.
• Reliable and solid internet connection to ensure uninterrupted communication and workflow.
• Inverter or alternative power source to maintain a consistent and reliable work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Telephone Sales Strategy and Execution:
• Develop and implement effective telephone sales strategies.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
2. Marketing Initiatives:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute impactful telephone marketing campaigns.
• Utilise digital and traditional marketing channels to increase brand awareness.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
3. Customer Outreach:
• Proactively reach out to potential customers via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate information.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with stakeholders, including product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Provide insights and feedback from customer interactions to inform product development and marketing strategies.

Qualifications:
• Experience in telephone sales, with a track record of meeting targets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Comfortable with making cold calls and initiating contact with potential clients.
• Adaptability and a willingness to thrive in a well-paced environment.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Familiarity with startup environments is a plus but not mandatory.
