Job Description

This magnificent five-star hotel in Cape Town offers extensive restaurant, function and banqueting facilities with a choice of cuisines from around the world. With a large kitchen brigade of professional chefs, we are looking for additional CDP's and DEMI CDP's to join the HOT KITCHEN PRODUCTION team in preparation for the upcoming international events and expected busy summer season starting as soon as August. Specific candidates will be hand-selected after trial shifts for the fine dining restaurant brigade as well as the elegant bistro terrace restaurant.

REQUIREMENTS
Formal cheffing qualification with at least 3 - 4 years’ experience within top restaurants or similar five-star hotels
Experience in food and wine pairing and excellent culinary basics are essential
Organised and systematic work methods
Willing and adaptable to take on extra duties and work according to last minute changes
Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written skills are essential
