Business Analyst 6 to 12 month.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and business analysis, with a proven track record of successfully navigating complex financial data and providing strategic insights to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reports to provide insights into key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in financial processes and systems.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed to support business initiatives and projects.
- Provide recommendations to management based on financial analysis and interpretation of data.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Business analysis diploma or experience is required.
- CA (SA)/ CIMA qualification is required.
- IFRS 17/insurance experience is essential.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, business intelligence, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the technology industry or financial services sector is a plus.\
