Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all production processes, including mixing, molding, firing, and finishing of refractory materials
- Develop production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer demand
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Manage and optimize raw material inventory to minimize waste and production costs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards
- Train, mentor, and supervise production staff to ensure high performance and teamwork
- Coordinate with other departments, such as sales, procurement, and maintenance, to streamline production processes and resolve any issues that may arise
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production performance and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management in the refractory industry
- Strong technical knowledge of refractory materials and manufacturing processes
- Experience with quality control and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software
