Red Seal Qualified Plumber

 Interprets blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems and other plumbing material;
 Installs pipes and fixtures such as sinks and toilets, water, gas, steam, air and other liquids;
 Assemble fittings and valves for installation;
 Modifies length of pipes, fixtures, and other pluming materials as needed for a building;
 Tests plumbing systems for leaks and other problems;
 Analyses problems and identifies appropriate tools and materials to do repair work;
 Perform ad-hoc tasks.

Applicants should have a “hands on” approach and be prepared to be involved in all aspects of the business. The nature of the position would require a person with a high level of energy and self-motivation.

 Matric;
 4-5 years’ experience in plumbing;
 Red seal qualification in plumbing;
 Knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems;
 Excellent interpersonal skills on a technical level;
 Able to work both independently and as part of a team;
 Fully bilingual;
 Own transport;
 Able to work overtime and under pressure.
