Position Overview:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial activities of our various entities. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for multiple entities within the group.
Conduct thorough reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial transactions.
Lead tax planning and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to South African tax laws.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and implement best practices.
Provide support during audits and assist with the implementation of advanced accounting systems or software.
Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Professional qualification (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA) required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior staff.
