Job Description

An Industrial Equipment Supplier based in Cape Town urgently seeks a Junior Sales Executive to join their dynamic team.
VERY IMPORTANT - Cold calling and sourcing leads for clients interested in leasing/purchasing various types of containers/industrial/FMCG logistics etc. Taking clients through the sales cycle, from initial contact to delivery of product.
Creating networking opportunities and designing sales presentations for existing and prospective clients.
Developing new markets for existing products. Developing a viable sales pipeline and meeting expected sales targets.

Qualification
Matric (A must)
Sales and Marketing Diploma

Requirements
Senior Certificate(Must)
Relevant diploma in related field
Technical and analytical
Computer Literate
Drivers Licence(Must)
Well spoken, excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proven track record of achieving sales targets(Must)
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Self-motivated and results driven
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Confident, charismatic and outgoing personality
Experience in cold calling and outbound sales representative
Experience in logistics, shipping containers or related field
Sales skills is a must(passionate)
Know GP's, conversions, have good numeracy skills

With regards to Sales:
1. Number of deals (Sales and Rental) closed by you. A sales code will be allocated and must be recorded on the relevant invoice.
2. Growth in the rental fleet (number of units).
3. Based on a travel itinerary, the number of calls on existing customers as well as new customers. (Based on cold calling and customer visits to customers requesting quotations.)
With regards to Operations:
1. Active involvement in maintaining an attractive sales and rental fleet.
2. On a daily basis, the management of the Depot Controller.
With regards to Administration
1. Ability to perform functions such as invoicing, tracking, debt collection and completion of POD’s.
General:
1. Improvement of product knowledge.
2. Weekly reports and communication as requested by Management.
3. Active involvement in the daily running of the branch.
4. The ability to function on your own within the depot environment.

Duties
Promotion of sales, conversions and rentals of our products, so as to meet budget expectations.
Preparation and submission of quotations to existing and prospective clients.
General market development, identifying potential new clients and making efforts to secure their business.
Perform administrative functions to complete the sales cycle (forecasting, reporting, customer database maintenance and data entry, correspondence).
Proactively call on accounts on targeted lists through utilization of the customer database.
Build on the customer database within targeted market segments via, prospecting, networking, email/e-marketing, or utilizing Internet information sources.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities for current and future clients.
Handling of basic administrative duties
