Diesel Technician

We are seeking 3 skilled and experienced Marine Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The successful applicants will be required to maintain, diagnose, and repair diesel engines that power all types of water-based vessels. From small engine repairs to Marine vessel maintenance.

Overall responsibilities should include, but not limited to:

Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on diesel generators and main engines of naval vessels, including outboard motors, inboard motors, and large diesel ship engines.
Carry out fault finding and provide suitable recommendations for the repair.
Identify obsolete equipment and provide solutions for repairs.
Be able to compose reports.
Project manage all tasks allocated and meet timelines.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Collaborate effectively with other team members to complete projects.
Qualifications:

Must be a qualified Artisan with Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal)
Proven work experience as a Marine Diesel mechanic Technical Skills or Knowledge required
Must be knowledgeable on services and overhauls of diesel engines.
Proven work experience as a Marine Diesel mechanic Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a diesel mechanic, with a focus on marine / vessel engines.
Own transport for commuting to the workplace.
