Job Description

About the Position:
The position is responsible for the administration of all personnel data in the payroll system and preparation of payrolls.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Payroll administration for the various entities
• Verify all payroll inputs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Process and reconcile all third-party payments SARS, UIF, Pension, Union fees, Medical aids, WCA and Garnishees.
• Prepare and loading of ACB files and 3rd party payments on the banks
• Reconciliation and submission of the half year and year end EMP501’s and IRP5’s
• Follow up and resolve queries relating to payroll

Required Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to overcome obstacles and meet targets and deadlines
• Ability to work independently and use initiative along with problem solving abilities
• Ability to build strong effective relationships with clients, colleagues and management
• Must be a good team player and achieve objectives as set
• Must be meticulous in carrying out tasks/instructions etc.
• Must have good interpersonal and decision-making skills
• Must have good analytical skills with attention to detail
• Must be self-motivated

Required Qualifications:
• Grade 12 or higher
• 5 Years payroll administration experience
• SAGE VIP Classic / Premier experience (non-negotiable)
• Advance Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables etc.)
• Aptitude for financial work
• Up to date with legislative requirements i.e., PAYE, SDL, UIF, WCA, BCEA etc.

Other:
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment
• Reporting to Payroll Manager
Salary:
10.000,00 ZAR Monthly
