Branch Manager

The following Branch Management position has become available within an established gas and welding supply Company in our Northern Suburbs branch.
Minimum Requirements:
4+ years in related industry experience.
Clear credit and criminal record
Proven track record in shrinkage, expense control, budgets and exceptional customer service.
Staff Management – 10 – 15 staff.
Computer literate – Outlook, Excel and Pastel.
Good verbal and written communication skills, target driven and exceptional leadership skills.
Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
Ability to work quickly and under pressure.
Excellent organizational and problem- solving abilities.
Valid driver’s license.
Key Duties: Including but not limited to:
Customer Management: Ensure top-notch service and Customer focus.
Personnel Management: Lead and motivate your team to excel, ensuring adherence to policies and fostering a culture of excellence.
Warehouse Management: Oversee efficient warehouse operations, inventory accuracy and ordering procedures.
Facility and Asset Management: Maintain the branch’s appearance and functionality to the highest standards ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
Purchasing Management: Streamline procurement processes to maintain appropriate stock levels
Sales Management: Drive sales initiatives and support sales staff to maximize opportunities and foster growth.
Finance Management: Work closely with the finance department to manage budgets, monitor cash flow, ensure financial integrity and maintain a health age analysis.
Ensuring Company policies and procedures, Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.
Permanent Position with a three month probation period.
All Basic conditionals of employment act strictly adhered to with regards to leave.
The successful applicant may be subject to background checks.
Renumeration package dependant on experience and qualifications, including Company Car with fuel and a Cell phone / allowance.
