Job Description
(Permanent – On-site)
Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- These combined PLC & Robot Programmers will be responsible for designing and programming automation systems, optimizing processes,
and ensuring the smooth operation of industrial systems.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing regular maintenance tasks.
- Must be willing to travel for Projects throughout South Africa, as required.
Requirements:
- Strong PLC programming and robot programming skills.
- Experience in designing and optimizing industrial automation systems.
- Knowledge of motion control and robotic systems.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Applicants must have PLC Programming experience with Siemens & Allen Bradley (as well as Robotics experience).
- Valid driver's license.
SALARY IS COMMENSURATE WITH QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE.
Benefits: Medical Aid (50/50) and annual bonus.
Working hours: Minimum of 50 hours per week.
