Role Overview: As a Marketing and Web Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our marketing and community-building efforts. Working closely with the marketing team in Johannesburg, you will assist in developing and implementing creative campaigns, managing digital assets, and fostering engagement within our ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Design:
•
Create visually compelling graphics, illustrations, and marketing materials for both digital and print platforms.
•
Design and produce promotional materials such as social media posts, flyers, brochures, and advertisements.
•
Ensure brand consistency and adherence to design guidelines across all marketing collateral.
Web Development and Management:
•
Assist in the maintenance and updating of the company website, including content creation, layout design, and user experience optimization.
•
Collaborate with the web development team to implement new features, functionalities, and enhancements.
•
Monitor website performance metrics and user engagement to identify areas for improvement.
•
Coordinate and oversee the gaming hub.
Content Creation:
•
Develop engaging and compelling content for various marketing channels, including website, social media, email newsletters, and blog posts.
•
Write copy for marketing campaigns, product descriptions, and promotional materials.
•
Curate user-generated content and testimonials to showcase the experiences of our community members.
Digital Marketing Support:
•
Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, and search engine marketing.
•
Monitor campaign performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
•
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices.
Ecosystem Building:
•
Support Ecosystem building initiatives aimed at fostering collaboration, networking, and knowledge sharing among members.
•
Organize and coordinate events, workshops, and networking sessions to facilitate interaction and engagement within the ecosystem.
•
Assist in managing community forums, groups, and online platforms to facilitate communication and collaboration.
Qualifications and Skills:
•
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field.
•
Proven experience in graphic design, web development, and digital marketing.
•
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva and web design tools (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace).
•
Strong creative and conceptual thinking, with the ability to translate ideas into visually appealing designs.
•
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
•
Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and analytics platforms.
•
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
•
