Job Description
We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic Retail Computer Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping customers find the perfect computer and accessories solution to meet their needs. You will discover customer needs, provide expert advice, demonstrate product features, provide the best tech solution based on customer needs and ensure a positive shopping experience for all our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in the store, providing excellent customer service.
- Demonstrate and explain the features and benefits of computers and related products.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and product knowledge.
- Help customers make informed purchasing decisions based on their needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store goals.
- Meet sales targets and performance KPIs
Qualifications:
- Matric Certificate or equivalent; additional certifications in technology or sales are a plus.
Requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen or hold a valid permit.
- Must be between the ages of 25/35 years.
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the electronics or computer industry.
- Strong knowledge of computers, software, and related accessories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
- A positive attitude and a passion for technology.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- 2-3 Years retail sales experience
- Proven IT sales track record
- Reliably commute Johannesburg CBD daily or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
