Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities
Experience in Chrome and PMG Mining
Daily administration and analysis of metal accounting.
Reconciliation of purchased material from external suppliers.
Ensuring that matters relating to mass and metal balancing, recoveries and accountabilities are addressed.
Continuous process optimisation and improvement.
Procurement of plant consumables and continuous communication with suppliers regarding their substances.
Daily monitoring and analysis of production data and investigation of production problems.
Daily monitoring of the plant processes to assist maintain plant’s operating standards.
Provision of technical support to the production team.
To initiate, design, plan, execute, implement technical projects and reporting of results.
Creating laboratory procedures for laboratory tests.
Compilation of monthly reagents and consumables consumption reports.
Compilation of daily, weekly and monthly production and technical reports.
Research and Development test works to improve plant performance and efficiencies.
Desired Experience & Qualification
BTech or BEng Metallurgical Degree
Minimum of 3-4 years working experience
Experience with Chrome and PGM’s
Computer Literate
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Driver’s license
