Dog Handler DH1 TO DH5

Dikwena Tsa Molao (DTM) is looking for a responsible and experienced DOG HANDLER to join our team. The DOG HANDLER will ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. They will patrol the premises, monitor surveillance equipment, and respond to emergencies. The ideal candidates will have experience in security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.

Qualifications:
Matric
Grade C Guarding qualification.
DH1 – DH5 qualification.
3 years experience.
Proven experience as a dog handler or in a similar security role.
Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of physical fitness and stamina.
Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
Monitor surveillance equipment and report any suspicious activities.
Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly.
Enforce company policies and regulations to maintain order.
Conduct security checks at entry and exit points.
Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and customers when needed.
Maintain detailed records of activities, incidents, and observations.
Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services if necessary.
Perform other security-related duties as assigned.
