Job Position: Fleet Maintenance Technician
Ref: 4763
Location: Umbilo (Durban)
Salary: R15 000 to R19 000 per month commensurate with qualification and experience

Qualifications / Requirements:
• Matric
• Valid driver’s licence
• Mechanical/Pneumatics experience will be advantage
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must be computer literate
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to think on your feet
• Goal-driven, no time wasters

Key Performance Areas:
• Perform maintenance on trucks, trailers, and depot as well as depot and fleet routine inspections
• Repairs on truck and trailers
• 24-hour breakdowns (standby)
• Maintain fleet and depot
• Repairs on truck and trailers
• Order parts and maintain stock, collect
• Roadworthy and safe loading inspections
• Work weekends when needed
• Tyre changes
• Tank cleaning, installations and repairs
• Health and safety inspections
• Fleet inspections
• General run around
