Factory Assistant – General worker

Our manufacturing company based in Lenasia, Johannesburg is looking For a MATURE person to employ as a General Worker to support the Production Manager.

You are required to fulfil the following employment duties to the best of your ability:

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure that you understand your daily departmental task requirements.

• Presentable and compliant at all times in line with company dress code policy.

• Always handle products correctly to avoid damages.

• Report all packaging and product non-compliances to your supervisor:

o Damaged packaging

o Damaged seals

o Damaged product

• Take personal responsibility for your actions and accept accountability for your duties.

• Be reliable, responsible and committed.

• Communicate effectively with your team.

• Comply with company policies and procedures.

• Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.

• Comply with quality and food safety system requirements.

• Cleaning and housekeeping conducted as per company policies and procedures.

• Any other duties that your supervisor or management may reasonably assign.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Assist with the manufacturing of ice cream and frozen confectionary as per company policy.

• Assist with monitoring the quantities and quality of product
