About the role: A well-established trading and cleaning services company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Supervisor to join their team and lead operations within their cleaning services division. This pivotal role involves ensuring the efficient management of daily operations, optimizing workflows, and achieving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be personable and assertive, capable of managing blue-collar employees effectively, following instructions diligently, and demonstrating a strong desire to grow within the company. This role offers the potential for advancement to Managerial positions.

Responsibilities:
• Operations Management: Ensure compliance with policies and regulations, develop efficient processes to boost productivity, and manage costs.
• Team Supervision: Lead, coach, and manage employees, set objectives, delegate tasks, and monitor progress.
• Performance Monitoring: Set and track performance metrics and KPls, identify improvements, and implement corrective actions.
• Resource Planning: Assess and coordinate staffing, equipment, and materials to meet operational needs.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance processes for greater efficiency and quality, encouraging innovation and best practices.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain quality standards, conduct inspections, and address non-conformities.
• Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and control expenses.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align operations with organizational goals and foster effective communication.
• Risk Management: identify and mitigate operational risks, ensure safety compliance, and promote a safety culture.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare performance reports, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions.

Minimum Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Proven experience in operations management or supervisory roles. Industry knowledge is preferred, but open to operational candidates from other industries.
• Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Skills: Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Tools Proficiency: Proficient in using productivity and project management tools.
• Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities.
