Job Description
Location – Centurion, Gauteng Closing Date – 16 August 2024

Introduction
A well-known e-learning, educational and skills training company Highveld; Centurion seeks to employ an OHS Assessor/Moderator to join the growing team with at least seven (7) years of experience within the Occupational Health and Safety Compliance environment.
Requirements, Knowledge and Experience
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant industry-related working experience in OHS facilitation, assessment and moderation
• Completion of a recognised facilitator/assessor and moderator training programme
• A good understanding of the TETA compliance landscape
• Valid accreditation and scope with TETA as an assessor/moderator, and not expired for unit standard listed below:
o Perform basic life support and first aid procedures (SAQA xxxxxxx)
o Apply basic firefighting techniques (SAQA xxxxxxx)
o Maintaining occupational health, safety and general housekeeping (SAQA 8016)
o Apply occupational health, safety and environmental principles (SAQA xxxxxxx)
o Operate counter-balance lift truck (SAQA xxxxxxx)
o Additional TETA scope will be advantageous.
• High-level IT literacy, MS Office and MS Suites
• Gauteng based
• Driver’s license and own transport essential
• Must be willing to travel extensively.
Responsibilities
• Facilitate training sessions for relevant stakeholders
• Be responsible for internal assessments for unit standards listed
• Highlighting needs for capacity and content development
• Evaluate practices and record necessary amendments
• Administering and reviewing progress on assessments
• Tracking and conveying attendees' engagement to applicable stakeholders
• Conduct assessments, and ensure assessments are valid and reliable
• Providing feedback and guidance to learners
• Working with moderators
• Adhere to assessment policies and regulations.
