Sheq Officer

We are looking for a Sheq Officer residing in the Alberton and surrounding areas.
Ensuring QMS (Quality Management Systems) are implemented and running according to ISO 9001:2015 International Standards.
Also ensuring Health and Safety is properly managed according to the OHS Act and any other relevant safety laws and regulations.
- Conducting risk assessments.
- Implementing corrective action and preventative measures.
- Completing Incident/ accident and non-conformance investigations and reports.
- Conducting workplace hazard identification inspections/ fire equipment inspections.
- Planning evacuation drills.
- Monitoring and planning staff training.
- Issuing staff appointment letters.
- Completing weekly reviews on vehicle checklists.
- Monitoring driver PDPs, Hazchem certifications and Medicals.
- Planning meeting agendas and completing minutes.
- Monitoring revisions on documents, procedures and policies (update when required to do so).
- Document Control: Ensuring all changes made or revisions done to the above mentioned documents are recorded on an audit trail and updated on the index register.
- Creation of new policies, procedures, forms, registers etc. when instructed to do so by management or if necessary due to any corrective action requirements.
- Update company safety file.
- Requesting completion of customer satisfaction surveys from our clients.
- Creating Management review PowerPoints for annual meetings.
- Gathering documents required for any safety and quality audits.
- Monitoring Staff Development Plans.
- Monitoring Quality and Safety Objectives.
- Monitoring monthly KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Keeping record of truck service and repair job cards completed by our mechanic.
- Booking stock in and out of Sage Pastel.
- Invoice preparation for accounts department.
