Job Title: Customer Service Agent (Financial Services/Banking)

We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Customer Service Agents with a
background in banking or financial services to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
As a Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to
our client's customers. Your role will involve handling customer inquiries, resolving issues,
and ensuring customer satisfaction, particularly in the context of debt management,
banking, or financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound Call Handling:
- Address customer inquiries related to overdraft facilities, personal loans, and credit cards.
- Provide accurate information and support to customers regarding their accounts and
financial products.
Outbound Call Handling:
- Conduct follow-up calls to clients who have fallen behind on their debt commitments.
- Engage with clients to discuss repayment options and arrangements.
Communication Post-Call:
- Ensure each call is followed by an email or SMS via the system to confirm the
arrangement.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions and communications.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (6 months) in a customer service role, preferably in debt collection,
banking, or financial services.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism.
- Proficiency in using customer service software and other relevant computer applications.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Matric or equivalent; additional qualifications in finance or related fields are a plus.
