Job Description

Develop software as per Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); Fault find and fix problems; Maintain and upgrade the on-telescope control software; Write and perform Software ATPs; Interact with electronic and mechanical teams as well as astronomy staff for any software support; Assist with preparing telescope operations for night-time operations; Follow Software configuration control protocols

Qualification:

B Eng/B Sc Comp Sci or electrical engineering or related field

Experience:

5 years post qualification practical experience in the full SDLC in software for instrumentation and/or industrial applications; Experience in networked applications development

Salary:: 500.000,00 ZAR Monthly
