Job Description:
A leading security services provider is seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented CCTV Operator to join our team in Midrand. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing security camera footage to ensure the safety and security of our premises.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor all CCTV systems within the control room in an efficient manner.
Ensure all camera equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions or repairs needed.
Monitor live and recorded footage to detect suspicious activities or potential security breaches.
Respond to alarms by verifying and notifying the appropriate authorities or personnel.
Maintain accurate records of all incidents and prepare reports as required.
Collaborate with security personnel and law enforcement to handle emergency situations.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to data protection and confidentiality.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a CCTV Operator or in a similar role.
Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and make quick decisions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Basic knowledge of computer systems and CCTV equipment.
Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transport.
