Job Description
The Client: Boutique Yacht Manufacturing Company, St. Francis Bay
• To supervise a team of ±80 staff members, comprising fairers, sanders, laminators, spray painters and final finishing team. Ensure compliance with the approved specifications and methods statement;
• 10 Years+ working hands-on and managing/ supervising in a similar capacity (end-to-end delivery and management);
• Comply with required Healthy and Safety, Environment and Quality as well as other legislation
• Provide regular correct feedback to the Production Management Team;
• Extensive experience in hand fairing of fibre glass products, priming & spray painting of new large yachts (or similar products) and effecting paint repairs and blending thereof;
• Attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal as well as written);
• Preferably based in St Francis Bay or immediate surrounds.
