Job Description
Minimum Requirements
• 2-4 years proven working experience in Social Media Marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
• BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrate social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO.
• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
• Highly organized individual.
• Strong understanding of content narrative and storytelling across social channels.
• Creative thinker and excellent written and verbal skills.
• Experience in planning, building, and analysing digital marketing campaigns.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure, problem-solving, organizational and time management skills.
Duties include the following, but not limited to:
• Develop; coordinate and execute the company’s social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification to improve company online presence and brand awareness.
• - Manage a strategically driven social content calendar for the company and coordinate the in-house creative production team for effective implementation of the schedule.
• - Help manage and produce creative and original content (copy, images, and video) for all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube.
• - Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content.
• - Joining relevant conversations on behalf of the company and “soft selling” products by providing support to current and prospective customers.
• - Working closely with the customer service team as their point of contact to ensure that all customer-facing; social complaints/issues are resolved with urgency.
• - Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
• - Provide data analysis (social platforms) and metric reporting to Marketing Manager
• - Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs)—like link clicks, likes, and other metrics—of social media marketing campaigns.
• - Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.
Salary: R17 000 CTC
