A Wholesaler and retailer of automotive replacement parts are currently looking to employ a General Worker/Warehouse Assistant to start immediately, or as soon as possible, at their branch in Selby.

Job Purpose:
As a General Worker, your primary responsibility is to support the efficient functioning of the warehouse by performing various manual tasks. You will be involved in tasks such as loading and unloading goods, organizing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with other general warehouse activities. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to work as part of a team.

Requirements:
• Grade 12 with Mathematics as subject
• 30 – 40 years
• Previous warehouse or manual labour experience is an asset
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic mathematical skills for inventory counting.
• Forklift certification would be an advantage
• Must be target driven and a team player
• Own Transport

Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Loading and Unloading
• Counting of parts loaded and unloaded, ensuring correct amount is on ordering slip
