Electrician

Experienced electrician sought for Water & Wastewater Plant environment with dosing, chlorination, and pumping solutions experience.

Our client is looking for a skilled electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and industrial equipment.

Key responsibilities include:
- installation and maintenance of electrical systems, troubleshooting and repairs, and compliance with safety protocols.

-Strong communication and problem-solving skills required, with ability to work in physically demanding environments.

-Trade test and beyond trade test courses required, with wireman's license an advantage.

-Microsoft Office and WhatsApp skills required, with driver's license and clear criminal and ITC records necessary.

-Willingness to work on a standby basis and overtime, with annual occupational health checks and infectious disease vaccinations required.

Responsibilities:

-Installation and Maintenance: Install electrical systems, components, and equipment, including wiring, circuits, and fixtures.

-Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in industrial machinery and systems.

-Compliance and Safety: Ensure all electrical installations and repairs comply with local, state, and national electrical codes and standards.

-Reading Blueprints and Schematics: Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.

-Working with Automation and Control Systems: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated systems, such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other control systems.

-Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and fix complex electrical issues.
-Attention to Detail: Precision in following codes, standards, and technical drawings.
-Physical Fitness: Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
-Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork and documentation.
-Safety Awareness: In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
