Job Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechatronic systems, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency in our production lines. This role requires a blend of mechanical, electrical, and software skills, as well as a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications: & Skills
• N1-N6
• Red Seal Certification as a Mechatronic Technician.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical components.
• Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, sensors.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal English and Afrikaans.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
*Key Responsibilities: *
• Install, maintain, and repair mechatronic systems and automated machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to improve system performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
