Job Description
• Crimping of contacts to wires ensuring that crimping is done to correct standards
• Inserting wires to connectors
• Sleeving / harnessing of wires to form a loom adhering to set standards.
• Correct assembly of wires to form a loom/wiring harness using the relevant work specification (schematic, instructions, samples).
• Running wires using running lists.
• Routing cables on loom boards.
• Assisting with loom installation into product.
• Soldering of components where required.
• Using the heat gun to seal the sleeve over the loom.
• Ensuring that sleeve and or wires do not have nicks.
• Hand tool experience needed (heat gun, glue gun, soldering iron, etc).
• Electronic, wiring, component knowledge.
• Soldering experience (small components, wiring).
Successful Matric Certificate required.
RSA Citizens only.
NO CRIMINAL RECORD
Preferably have a drivers license and own vehicle to work and back.
