Business Intelligence Business Analyst (BI-BA)

Key role responsibilities:
a. Gather, cleanse, and structure data from various internal and external sources. Document existing and new process flows and data flow diagrams
b. Document and validate business requirements, ensuring they are clear, concise, and understood by both the business and technical teams.
c. Identification of what data is needed, where it resides, and how it will be used to achieve business objectives.
d. Work with data engineers or data architects to understand the data sources, structures, and flow of information across systems.
e. Analyze and map current business processes to identify opportunities for optimization using data insights.
f. Ensure that the data solutions being developed will integrate seamlessly into existing operations and workflows.
g. Work closely with IT teams, data engineers, and other departments to ensure that business requirements are met and data pipelines are efficient.
h. Analysis of new solutions to ensure that they fulfil original requirements and close identified gaps.
i. Execute feasibility and viability assessments at a project / product level.
j. Identify business questions, challenges and opportunities, translating them into data analysis and reporting requirements.
k. Identify inefficiencies in business processes and use data to recommend solutions or process improvements.
l. Suggest automation opportunities for repetitive reporting tasks, increasing efficiency and reducing human error.
m. Monitor BI system performance and recommend enhancements based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
