Job Description
Bruma, Johannesburg
R25 000 - R30 000 per month
Duration: Permanent
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk for our client, a leading company in the logistics and freight forwarding industry. The position requires strong proficiency in Sage Pastel Partner, advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to handle general office administration tasks alongside core accounting duties. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a company committed to operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements:
Proficiency with Sage Pastel Partner is mandatory.
Solid understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel for report preparation.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate accounting records using Sage Pastel Partner.
Manage daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks such as reconciliations, invoicing, and reporting.
Prepare and compile financial reports using Microsoft Excel.
Perform general bookkeeping duties and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Process supplier invoices and payments, ensuring timely and accurate settlements.
Manage customer invoicing and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
Assist with office administration and other duties as needed, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
