Job Description

There is a Position available in Johannesburg for an experienced Stock Controller.
Expected duties: Accurate and on time reporting of all stock in all Zambian warehouses. Follow the stock announced by the warehouse against the inhouse software system. Ensure all details are updated on the software system accurately and on time. Analyse all data supplied by LSP. Identify any inconsistencies. Track the number of days from arrival of the cargo, till dispatch of each warehouse. Accurate and on time reporting for all Loaded, Offload, In-transit cargo, including scheduling, routing, and tracking. Timely creation of new load details onto the in-house software system. Build and maintain relationships with all service providers. Assist with the closing of all tracking on the software system once confirmed received into warehouse. Key performance areas are Stock Analysis, Stock Reporting, Monthly Reporting, Query Resolution, Correct and Efficient Utilization of Company Share Drive and Response time.
Minimum requirements for this position are as follows: At least Grade 12. Excellent communication skills. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience within the African road/freight environment. Sound geographical knowledge of Africa. Punctuality and good time management skills are essential. Ability to liaise effectively with clients and service providers. Disposition to be accurate and pay attention to detail. Self – motivated and disciplined. Ability to be pro-active and take initiative when required. Excellent e-mail and telephone etiquette

Basic salary on offer: R 25 000.00 to R 28 000.00 negotiable with benefits to be discussed.
