Operations Manager (Parts / Logistics)

Experience and skills
 Must understand parts and parts manuals and ability to find parts in them
 Must be hands on and well organized with solid communication skills
 Must have experience in Supervisory Capacity
 Managing busy stores
 Experience in store layout and controls around fast-moving vs slow moving stock
 Understanding of inventory, administration and procedures
 Attention to detail must be proven
 Skilled in using computer applications (Syspro accounting package, MS Office, Internet etc).
 Control stores inflow and outflow of paperwork and spares
 Keep track of seasonal flow of spares
 Ensure procedures are adhered to
 Good memory and organizational skills
 Above average understanding of Excel and using of excel (v-lookup, consolidating information, sorting)
 Must be self-driven and be able to operate with minimum supervision
 Able to operate efficiently on a computer with communication and presentation skills

Education/Experience
 Matric
 Procurement/Logistics qualification post matric diploma or degree
 Demonstrated ability to handle procurement/logistical issues/stores
 Must be self-driven and be able to operate with minimum supervision
 Customer focused with meeting committed deadlines
