Job Description
Responsibilities
• Sales Activities: Actively seek out new customers through cold calling, networking and referrals.
• Meet or exceed sales targets: Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
• Establish, develop and maintain professional, positive business and customer relationships
• Monitoring competitors' sales activities
• Understand customer needs and requirements
• Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs
• Maintaining client records
• Products/Services and market knowledge
• Cross sell products/Services
• Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
• Negotiating contracts and prices
• Planning sales strategies
• Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects
• Stay up to date with new products/services
• Perform cost-¬benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
• Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
• Continuously improve through feedback
Grade 12
Electrical and or Instrumentation Trade Certificate
Proven experience in sales Preferably in a SMEIP Construction environment.
Computer Literate
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• Ability to source new clients or give the reasonable leads.
• Able to identify market opportunities
