Job Description
Our client, a blue chip Manufacturing company based in Vanderbijlpark is looking for a person with the following:
Qualifications/Experience:
• Grade 12/N3
• Must have a red seal as Millwright or Fitter
• Strong experience in Industrial maintenance, with specific expertise working on
• Boring mills, Overhead cranes, lathes, and performing generator changeovers
• Proven track record in a Industrial Manufacturing maintenance department
• Strong trouble shooting skills and mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to a safe work environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Attention to detail
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of Industrial equipment, including boring mills, overhead cranes, lathes and generators
• Conduct generator changeovers, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, diagnose issues, and perform corrective maintenance
• Install and maintain Industrial machinery and equipment in accordance with safety and operational standards
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance and modifications
• Ensure that all tasks are completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
