Job Description

Trust Compliance Administrator (JB5041)
Newlands, Cape Town (Office Based)
R45 000 - R55 000 CTC per month
Provident Fund, Group Risk
Permanent

Seeking a detail-oriented Trust Compliance Administrator to manage and oversee compliance for new and existing Trust client portfolios.
This role ensures adherence to the Trust Property Control Act and best practices while delivering excellent client service and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Minimum Requirements:
Completed compliance-related qualifications preferred.
4 or more years of experience within a similar role relating to Trust Accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date trust client files, including contact details.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements locally and internationally.
Draft essential documents such as trustee resolutions and meeting minutes.
Effectively liaise with third parties, such as SARS, the Master of the High Court, accountants, and tax practitioners.
Open and manage trust bank accounts in collaboration with the Treasury Department.
Arrange payments, distributions, and investment report filings.
Plan and coordinate trustee meetings, ensuring all related tasks and annual schedules are completed on time.
Assist clients with the management and maintenance of rental properties.
Proactively resolve client queries and issues professionally and efficiently.
Monitor and mitigate risks by applying best practices and internal processes.
Assist with invoicing and debt collection in collaboration with the Trust Officer.
Ensure continuous compliance obligations for trusts and trustees.
