Job Description
Prevention Officer
Do you have experience in control
room monitoring operations?
Does the prospect of control room
base, live offsite video monitoring appeal to you?
Are you available between the
hours 15h45 and 08h00, 7 days per week for shift based night-time work?
Does crime prevention and
providing a potential life-saving service appeal to you?
We are looking to recruit several
new control room operators to detect and live video monitor human activity to avert
and/or prevent crime. We use the latest artificial intelligence technology to
accurately detect, monitor and deter suspicious unlawful human activity.
To apply for this exciting new opportunity, you
must first meet the following essential criteria required:
Availability:
1.
You must be available between the hours of 4pm-8am
(2 x 8-hour shifts) 7 days a week.
2.
Shifts are on a roster basis, 8-hour shifts, shift
1 is 4pm-12pm, and shift 2 is 12pm-8am.
Place of residence and Travel:
1.
You must live within a 25km radius of the Cape
town CBD
2.
Own reliable transport to and from Plumstead,
Cape town.
Qualifications and skills:
1.
Minimum matric certificate or higher
2.
Command of English and Afrikaans languages
3.
Basic Computer skills, including Microsoft
office and operating systems
4.
Control room monitoring experience will be
advantageous
Training
If you are successfully selected for the
position, you will be required to complete a mandatory training program.

South African bar-coded I.D book or card is
required to be presented on arrival at group interview (A copy thereof will be
required for our keeping)
