Auto Body Repair Technician

Key Responsibilities:

* Assessing vehicle damage and identifying the necessary repairs.
* Removing damaged body parts and panels and replacing or repairing them
* Using specialised tools to repair dents, align frames and straighten panels
* Conducting structural repairs on the vehicle's body and framework.
* Sanding, filing and preparing surfaces for painting.
* Mixing and matching paint colours
* Quality checking on all work done for smoothness and uniformity
* Repairing minor imperfections in paintwork by buffing, polishing, or applying touch-ups
* Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations and protocols. Managing hazardous materials and chemicals safely
* Ensuring the workspace is clean and organised
* Providing updates on repair progress and delivery times.
