Junior Field technician

Job Title: Field Technician
Job Responsibilities:
Installation & Setup:

Install, configure, and set up equipment or systems at client locations.
Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and meet operational requirements.

Maintenance & Repairs:
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure its reliability and longevity.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues as they arise.
Replace faulty components or parts.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service by ensuring client satisfaction and addressing concerns.
Educate clients on the proper use of equipment or systems.
Communicate with clients to ensure that any issues are addressed efficiently.

Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs, installations, and inventory.
Report any equipment failures, parts issues, or necessary upgrades to the supervisor or team.

Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure that all work is completed in a safe manner.
Comply with company and regulatory standards for quality and safety.

Problem-Solving:
Use technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly and accurately.
Collaborate with other team members or technical support if necessary for complex issues.

Travel:
Travel to different client locations, sometimes on short notice, to address service needs.
Often required to drive long distances and manage travel logistics.

Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills: Proficiency in understanding and troubleshooting equipment or systems.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair issues.
Customer Service: Ability to handle clients with professionalism and provide excellent service.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
Driving License: Valid driver’s license and 2 years driving experience
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry equipment or parts as needed (depending on the role).

Educational Requirements:
High school diploma
Relevant certifications or training specific to the field (e.g., IT, telecommunications, electrical).
