Debt Collection agents

We are looking to hire highly motivated and skilled Debt Collection Agents to join our team at TZ Attorneys. As a Debt Collection Agent, you will play a crucial role in managing and recovering outstanding debts while maintaining excellent debtor relations. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with debtors from time to time and resolve their overdue accounts and ensure timely payment.

Responsibilities:

•Contact customers via phone calls, emails, and letters to collect outstanding debts.
•Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers to resolve delinquent accounts. •Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all debt collection activities.
•Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding outstanding debts. •Evaluate and analyse customer financial situations to determine the best course of action. •Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth debt recovery processes.
•Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements related to debt collection practices.
• Record all collection activities and provide regular feedback on debt collection activities and progress to management.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in debt collection or a related field. N: B Only CVs with relevant experience will be considered
•Matric is compulsory, additional qualifications are a plus.
•Proven track record of successfully collecting and reducing outstanding debts.
•Clear credit record and criminal background
Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks related to debt collection.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation.
•Strong attention to detail

•Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle difficult conversations.
