Job Description

SALES COÖRDINATORS (LUXURY STUDENT ACCOMMODATION) – Cape Town Campus (Seasonal Contract)

Can you sell ice to an Eskimo? Our client is seeking n ambitious and results-driven individual with a knack for sealing the deal. Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for helping potential clients turn into satisfied customers?

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Engage with prospective students and their parents/guardians to understand their accommodation needs and preferences
• Accurately manage room applications, modifications, and cancellations, ensuring all client details and preferences are recorded correctly in the booking management system
• Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell additional services, such as room upgrades, to enhance the student experience and increase revenue
• Showcase the unique features and benefits of student accommodation, emphasizing how they align with the potential residents' requirements
• Skilfully address inquiries, concerns, and objections to ensure potential clients feel confident in their decision-making process
• Collaborate closely with our sales and marketing teams to follow up on leads, schedule viewings of our properties, and manage a pipeline of prospective clients
• Utilize your expert negotiation skills to present pricing and options in a compelling manner, converting leads into signed agreements
• Create a sense of urgency and excitement, effectively encouraging potential residents to make informed and timely

Requirements:

• Matric with at least 1 year’s experience in hospitality or customer service experience
• Proven track record of success in sales, particularly in roles that involve closing deals and meeting or exceeding targets
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Afrikaans, and a 3rd language is advantageous
• Strong understanding of the psychology of buying and negotiation techniques
• Enthusiasm for the student living sector and a genuine interest in helping students find the perfect home during their academic journey
• High level of self-motivation and a drive to achieve and exceed sales goals
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Clear Criminal Records

Remuneration
• R11 000 Basic Plus Commission Structure
• Attractive commission structure that rewards exceptional performance and deal closures
• This is a seasonal contract (Aug – Feb / March)
