Body corporate situated in Parow, Cape Town seeks an experienced Supervisor to manage their complex that consists of 7 blocks of 112 units.
We are seeking a Supervisor with a sharp understanding of cost-efficiencies, who can secure and present comparative quotes, secure quality assurance, oversee contractors, interact with owners and residents, ensure that complex rules are adhered to by residents, tenants and contractors. We also require the Supervisor to work hand in hand with the two general workers currently working on site.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Coordinating and overseeing and carrying out regular building maintenance and repairs
• Managing and directing and scheduling cleaning staff and activities
• Preparing and carrying out emergency protocols and procedures,
• Maintaining a safe environment for building occupants and visitors, conversant with OHS and the applications thereof.
• Preparing and monitoring maintenance budgets
• Negotiating and liaising with third-party service providers
• Conducting regular building inspections and preparing reports
• Ensuring facilities are in compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and building codes
• Responding to inquiries and requests by building tenants and resolving any problems or issues
• Candidate need to be in a healthy / fit condition as each block has stairs and is an extensive site.
• Candidate must be computer literate
• Candidate must have a hands on approach
• Experience beneficial
• Candidates applying should preferably be 50 years and younger however not essential
• No criminal record
• Clean health record
• Salary - Negotiable
• On duty as needed and at least every second weekend.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Sectional Title / HOA qualification will be advantageous
• There is a flatlet on the premises that will be leased out to the candidate if necessary
