About the job
Homemark is seeking a Retail Sales Representative to join our team in Johannesburg to call on Massmart Accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Targets: Achieving sales targets set by the company on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.
Customer Accounts: Managing and servicing existing customer accounts, as well as identifying and establishing new customer accounts.
Order Processing: Submitting customer orders based on price lists and product literature.
Reporting: Keeping management informed by submitting activity and result reports, such as daily call reports and weekly work plans.
Problem Resolution: Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems and providing solutions based on product literature and company policies.
Sales Goals: Meeting or exceeding sales goals through effective selling techniques and customer interactions.
Marketing Coordination: Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs to align strategies and achieve better results.
Product Knowledge: Answering customer questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
Team Management: Managing and motivating in-store promoters and merchandisers, coaching them on sales techniques, product knowledge, and brand awareness.
Traveling: Daily to weekly traveling required within the assigned area and outlying areas around Kimberley.

Qualifications & Experience:

4+ Year’s current experience as a Sales Representative, currently calling on Massmart Accounts.
4+ Year’s current experience in generating and maintaining relationships with current store managers within the Massmart Accounts.
High school diploma or equivalent qualification

Must Have:

Reliable Vehicle (year model not older than 2022)
Laptop
