Job Description
Our esteemed client, a leader in the tourism and hospitality sectors, is seeking an ambitious Junior Legal Advisor to join their dynamic Group Legal team. This opportunity is ideal for a proactive legal professional with a strong grounding in commercial law and a passion for delivering sound, practical solutions. You’ll be at the forefront of drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts across multiple industries—ranging from foreign exchange to accommodation services—while staying responsive to a rapidly evolving global landscape.
Key Responsibilities
• Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Prepare and review commercial agreements (e.g., Share Purchase, Heads of Agreement, Sale of Business) and support transaction discussions with precision and clarity.
• Cross-Jurisdictional Expertise: Work on matters spanning various foreign jurisdictions, continuously updating your knowledge and applying best practices to keep pace with international trends.
• Dispute Resolution & Advisory: Provide legal opinions, conduct in-depth research, and resolve disputes effectively—ensuring robust support and advice across all business functions.
• Process & System Enhancement: Lead initiatives to implement and align contract management systems, create standardized templates, and streamline legal processes to boost administrative consistency.
• Collaborative Team Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contribute to a positive and supportive working environment, and offer guidance outside regular hours when necessary.
• Compliance & Reporting: Monitor ongoing legal matters, adhere to established policies, and deliver timely updates and reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
• Academic Background: A LLB, or a combination of BA/BCom LLB, providing a solid foundation in legal principles.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of two (2) years post-admission experience at a reputable law firm, legal department, or similar environment. While a blend of both in-house and practice experience is highly regarded, it’s not a strict requirement.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with legal research methodologies.
• Industry Insight: Exposure to, or interest in, the tourism and hospitality sectors is an advantage, though not essential.
Core Competencies:
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
o Meticulous planning with a results-driven mindset
o Confident negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities
o Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and tact
o A collaborative approach with a willingness to learn and adapt
Why This Role?

You’ll gain exposure to a breadth of industries and international practices, contribute directly to strategic initiatives, and develop your skills within a supportive, fast-paced environment known for its high standards and commitment to continuous improvement.
